Key area II

Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg

A large part of the office’s work is constitutional complaints to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia and applications to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg – when ordinary remedies have been exhausted and you believe rights guaranteed by the Constitution or the European Convention on Human Rights have been violated.

Deadlines are short: a constitutional complaint must be filed within 30 days of receiving the decision, and an application to the European Court within four months of the final decision. Call as soon as you receive the decision.
